01 Who we are

This policy explains how Fikrra Plus for Research and Development in Education Technologies L.L.C S.P.C (“Aflami”, “we”) handles the personal data of users on our website and on the platform at aflami.ai.

The company is licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism, Government of Dubai, under licence number 1558105, and is based in Saih Shuaib 3, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

02 What we collect

Account data

When you create an account we collect: name, email address, hashed password, preferred language. This data is necessary to operate the account.

Usage data

We record operational details such as: the generations you run, credits consumed, session timing, device and browser type, IP address. This helps us run the service and detect abuse.

Content you produce

The text descriptions you write, the images you upload, and the outputs you generate. This content remains yours and is not used to train our models.

Payment data

We use trusted payment providers (such as Stripe and PayPal) to process subscriptions. We do not store credit card details on our servers; they are handled directly by the payment provider under PCI-DSS standards.

Analytics and marketing data

We use Meta Pixel and other analytics tools to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns. These tools may collect IP address, device identity, the pages you visit, and interactions.

What we do not do: we do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we do not use your personal content to train AI models.

• Payment providers (such as Stripe, PayPal): to process subscriptions and payments
• Infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare, AWS): to host the site and store data
• AI model providers: prompts are sent to run the generation, but we do not share your identity with them
• Analytics and marketing tools: such as Meta and Google, to measure campaign performance
• Authorities: where a binding legal order or official request is issued

05 Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

• Essential: required to run the account and keep you signed in
• Preferences: storing language and display settings
• Analytics: understanding how the site is used so we can improve it

06 Security and retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after closure in line with legal and accounting obligations. On a deletion request, we delete personal data within 30 days, except what must be retained by law.

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and under applicable international regimes (such as the GDPR) for users in the European Union, you have the following rights:

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification: update any inaccurate data
• Erasure: request deletion of your account and associated data
• Objection: object to a particular processing of your data
• Portability: receive your data in a transferable format
• Withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to marketing processing at any time

08 Age requirement (18+)

Our services are for adults aged 18 and over only. We do not permit accounts for anyone under 18 and do not knowingly collect their data. If we discover an account belonging to a person under that age, we close it and delete their data immediately and without refund.

09 Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Where we make a material change, we will publish the new version here with an updated date, and notify you by email if you have an active account.

Your continued use of our services after changes are published means you accept them.
